Yi LinMaster courses were very intensive with constructive teaching plans. All the professors are very knowledgeable and professional. Professors not only taught technical knowledge, but also motivated us to involve any open discussion (e.g. Q&A). During discussion, professors addressed the confusing questions, showed us the most recent information from conferences and guided us developing academic and logic ways of thinking.

The research of my PhD education was very open with decent discussion. All those open discussion rapid development of my academic and research skills with lots of insights into my research topic. For those years, it helped me become a real researcher with strong determination.

During my education years at Ghent University, campus life was very interesting. Ghent University arranged the most of the opportunities, activities and facilities to make my life easy and home-feeling.  Besides that, Ghent University organized some life lecture for my knowledge and future career such as low country study and career seminar.  Additionally, the culture of Ghent University is very diverse. My course-mates and researchers at my department are from all the continents in the world. All these years, I learnt their culture and regions. It inspired me to open my mind accepting and respecting other countries’ dietary behavior, culture and religions. With this wonderful experience, I feel I am more international one.
