Peace and quiet

To ensure each resident a good night’s rest, silence has to be observed in the Halls from 11 p.m. onwards.

After this time any disturbing noise will be considered a noise nuisance, to which sanctions apply.

All noise pollution incidents are reported to the International Office and to the home university of the resident responsible for the incident. If the charges are so serious, tenants can be expelled from the Residences.

During curfew periods (period around the exams), the Housing Office guarantees that no maintenance or renovation work involving noise will be carried out. During these periods an extra effort is asked from the residents to respect silence 24/7.
