Department of Applied Physics

Education

The department is responsible for the physics courses in the bachelor curriculum of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, as well as several master courses.

On the European scene, the department represents UGent as a core partner in the European Master of Science in Nuclear Fusion and Engineering Physics (FUSION-EP), the CTU–UGent bilateral Joint Doctoral Programme in High-Temperature Plasma Physics and Thermonuclear Fusion (FUSION-bJDP), as well as the RESPO-X Project.
